AI agents for legal teams

Firm admin, handled. Judgment stays with your lawyers.

New matters, deadlines, prebills and the paperwork around them, working inside your matter system.

  • 23 agents
  • $12,500 fixed, each
  • Live in 3 to 6 weeks
A week for legal: five jobs, each handled by its agent. New matter intake (Marrow & Finch · intake) waits for the conflicts counsel.
Watch one work

Watch a new matter opened. Conflicts always go to a lawyer to clear.

It reads the request, captures the client and every party named, runs the conflicts search with their aliases and related entities, and drafts the engagement letter on your terms. A clean search goes to the intake lawyer to sign off. A hit waits for conflicts counsel with the history laid out.

The new matter intake workflow. In comes Marrow & Finch · employment claim. The agent works through: reads the request and the parties, then runs the conflicts search, then checks the hits against your conflicts rules. When everything checks out, it ends at: matter opened, engagement letter out. When the former clients check flags “Conflict hit”, it goes to the conflicts counsel, who is asked: Opposing party was a client in 2023. Clear it to go ahead?

This is how it usually runs. Yours follows your own steps and approvals, set with the people who do the job.

Built for legal

Confidential, and on the record.

  • Advice comes from lawyers

Agents gather, track and draft. Anything that needs legal judgment goes to a lawyer.

  • Every date has an owner

A reminder well before it is due, and a nudge to the supervising lawyer if nobody confirms.

  • Confidential by design

Agents read only the matters each job needs, on the firm’s own AI account, and every access is logged.

Questions

What people ask.

Does it give legal advice?
No. It handles the admin around the work: intake, dates, billing and paperwork. Anything that needs advice goes to a lawyer.
Where do our files live?
In your matter system and your cloud. To read a document, the agent sends the text it needs to the AI provider on the firm’s own account, under terms that don’t train on it. We show you those settings before anything goes live.
Our process isn’t quite like this. Will it still work?
That’s the usual case. The job looks the same in most businesses, but the details never do. We map how your team does it today, then set the rules, systems and approvals to match. That’s what most of the 3 to 6 weeks are for.
Can we start with more than one?
Yes. Three agents share most of the setup, so together they’re $30,000 instead of $37,500. Not sure which three? An AI Jumpstart maps it with you.
What does it cost to run once it’s live?
Hosting and AI, paid straight to the providers, not through us. It usually runs 5x to 25x cheaper than doing the same work by hand, and we work out your figure from your real volumes before you sign.
